This could be a very long answer if you want all the technical details! The short answer is they offer far higher performance and are more customizable than standard US windows. All the windows we sell are more airtight and thermally efficient than windows typically used in the US. For any given model of window there are typically 5-10 different thicknesses of glazing you can install in the frames. Each of these glazings have different thermal and light transmission properties. Also, all the windows we sell can come in pretty much any color you want. All this allows us to create the perfect custom window for our clients that meets their design requirements for aesthetics and thermal performance.

Ordering our windows is similar to other suppliers. The first step is a conversation to understand what your performance, design, and budget requirements are. Once we have that covered, we'll narrow in on a product line that will best meet your needs and start spec'ing out your window schedule or drawings. At this point we'll choose colors, window operations, and any customizations you like. Once we have a final window bid put together it’s time to order. Ordering requires a 50% deposit at time of order, followed by 40% at the time of shipment, with the remaining 10% due at delivery.

Pricing is hugely variable depending on window system. One of our favorite high-performance windows is the Vue5 window. For an entire house project, on average this system costs between $40 and $50 per square foot of glazing. This obviously can vary based on options, but that is a very competitive price point for a triple glazed window with a U factor between .12 and .14 depending on window size and operation.

Yes! Most Pivot window lines are available NFRC rated. European windows have been imported into the US for decades before they received this certification, and we have yet to hear of anyone having issues with local jurisdictions questioning these windows. These windows are way beefier and way more thermally efficient than your typical US manufactured vinyl window.

This depends on several factors. uPVC systems are typically manufactured within 3 weeks of order, while aluminum systems take slightly longer. After that it’s all about shipping. Typically, we can ship windows to the East Coast of the US in about 6 weeks. The West Coast takes a chunk longer...plan on 8-10 weeks...though if you need them faster we have ways to do that as well. Its always best to check with us on current production and shipping times but these are general guidelines.

Windows are delivered direct to your jobsite. We order windows by the container load and can usually group a couple projects in one container to reduce your shipping charges. We will then have the shipping company bring that container to your site. You will need to have a crew available to remove the windows from the container- and keep in mind these windows can be heavy!
